There is a sale going on in the Real Estate market….how long will it last?
It is a great time to be a buyer in the market today…all the stars are aligned for the perfect deal. Prices are low & mortgage rates are low. If you are in a position to buy a home, now is the time! This sale will not last long. Home prices are still low but how long will the mortgage rates stay low? The word on the street says that rates will be creeping up. Once the economy starts to see the recovery, rates will Go up! What does this mean for Sellers? Now is the time to put your home on the market. Prices are not expected to rise on home values anytime soon…but if rates go up, your home will not be as affordable to the buyers. If you are waiting for the Spring Market, you may be making a big mistake. There are buyers out there today, looking for a house. Any buyer who wants to go see homes in this weather is Serious! The Spring Market will be flooded with new listing, but those who put their home on now, will see less competition and be able to take advantage of the lower rates for the buyers. People still need housing in the winter for a variety of reasons….relocated, divorce, new baby, new job, death etc. The Real Estate market does not Close down in the winter, but those who are brave enough to
